The SPE® Thermoplastic Materials & Foams (TPM&F) Division promotes innovation and education in thermoplastic materials and foams worldwide. We share the latest advances in materials, processing, design, and applications through conferences, webinars, newsletters, and outreach programs.
We also recognize excellence in the field with awards, sponsored sessions, and technical papers. By partnering with SPE® and other organizations, we support professional growth, encourage innovation, and connect members across industry, academia, and research.
The Outstanding Achievement Award recognizes individuals whose pioneering work has greatly advanced thermoplastic materials and foams. Established in 1981, it represents the highest honor bestowed by the TPM&F Division of SPE.

The TPM&F Division nominates and celebrates members who have shown exceptional dedication and long-term service to SPE through the Honored Service Member Award.
Each year, the TPM&F Division honors excellence in research at the FOAMS conference with the Best Paper Award, featuring a $500 prize and publication in the division newsletter.
